How to link Aadhar card with PAN cardam?

1. You can link PAN and Aadhaar card through the Income Tax e-filing portal.

Now understand that if you are fined then you have to follow the steps given below to pay it.
Step 1. Go to the Income Tax Filing Portal.
Step 2. Under PAN/TAN and Confirm PAN/TAN column, PAN card number has to be entered and mobile number has to be entered there and click on the button to continue.
Step 3. After doing this, you get OTP. After verification, you are also redirected to the I Pay Tax page, there also you have to click on the button to continue.
Step 4. Now you have to click on the button to proceed below the Income Tax section.
Step 5. Then you have to select the assessment year like 2025-2026 year, you also have to choose the type of payment, Other Receipts 500 and above the type of payment, you will also have to link the pen with Aadhaar, if late fee is selected, then you will have to click on the Keep Attendance button.
Step 6. Now in front of the other option you will be seeing the applicable amount will be already filled, you will have to make the payment by clicking on the Continue button there also.
Now you have to understand that after making the payment, you have to link PAN card with your Aadhar card as soon as possible.
Note: Now you can also see your booking on the Income Tax e-filing portal like through debit card NEFT and then by depositing it at the RTGS counter or you can also pay the late fee through payment gateway as the option of payment gateway is available only for the accounts in authorized banks, you will have to do it there.
